It is very important for future generations to grow up sensitive to the environment and to know the importance of nature awareness. Humanity should make an effort to prevent deterioration of the ecosystem, and take responsibility to convey this to its future. Because the foundation of being a good person starts with owning the world you live in ...

We can call the ability to comprehend and develop the nature-society relationship as environmental literacy. Protecting the ecosystem of which every individual is a part means leaving a clean and livable world for the future. Unfortunately, the parents' not raising their children consciously on this issue and the fact that some institutions or organizations choose money instead of their conscience prevent this.

Environmental literacy is shown among 21st century skills with the Partnership for 21st Centurylearning, which is used by many educators in America. The reason for this is to create a sense of responsibility that children will reflect on their actions throughout their lives, rather than creating an anxiety arising from pressure. In particular, exaggerating future scenarios about the climate crisis and constantly reporting negative news may cause students to feel afraid or too helpless to contribute to change.

The importance of environmental literacy is the critical study of the laws of nature. Individuals with high environmental literacy are also people who think critically, can make strategic decisions and have a developed sense of individual responsibility. We must be conscious of our civic duties and make future generations conscious. Because we will not even have a bad tomorrow unless we wish for a good tomorrow and put our hands under the stone for it.
